If it has a barcode the cast member can just scan it from your phone (at the restaurant or shop). You can also type in the numbers to use for mobile order. If it is a large amount you may consider saving the number in a notes app on your phone so you can copy and paste it each time you do a mobile order. We purchased a gift card online so it’s in the form of an email. Do most people use the email or download it to a magic band.
Do you know if you can use a gift card at the resort to pay off what is charged with the Magic Band that day? Or does it automatically charge whichever credit card is on file at the hotel when you charge to your room? You can't download a giftcard to a Magicband, they do not hold any type of cash or credit value. You can charge things back to your Disney resort with a MB, but it goes on your hotel folio, not automatically deducted from a gift card. If you have a plastic gift card, you can transfer the balance to it, and you can probably save it to an Apple wallet if you have an Apple device. You could also print out the gift card and take it with you.
Yes you could pay off charges with something other than the card on file. I believe when you do it that day it’s still early enough in the ‘pending’ phase that it changes payment method to the new one, but even if you go to the desk before the end of your trip they will be able to apply different payment method even days later… just takes them a few more steps.Do you know if you can use a gift card at the resort to pay off what is charged with the Magic Band that day? Note that you can only charge to your MagicBand if staying at a WDW-owned resort. If staying offsite, or on property but not a WDW resort, you cannot pay for anything with your MB.Do you know if you can use a gift card at the resort to pay off what is charged with the Magic Band that day?
